Bacco Ristorante & Bar in Boston

It's a great higher end Italian place with reasonable price than the others in the area. I had FETTUCCINE MARGHERITA while my friend had LINGUINE NERE ALLO SCOGLIO. The food was indeed good, the Margherita could do with a little stronger note of basil. Our server was kind and she explained all our questions about food and wine. There is very little space between tables and the place is a little noisy at peak times. Reservation recommended.

Excellent Italian!!! And the bartender was epic!!! This fre shavacado & tomato compote salad was deeeeeelish... And this wine was special!!!

I'm just happy to be sitting down and having fine italiano. Let alone this is one of my fav restaraunts of all time with always fresh ingredients and amazing service. So happy to be out and just enjoyed being taken care of again... thank you bacco like always...

The dishes all tend to be toward traditional Italian versus what most of us have become accustomed to. The pace was very slow. I am not sure if that is also traditional Italian. 3.5 hours for dinner with apps. Big props on the food.

Separate entrance for regular dining and group dining. Separate bars also. In a group it's difficult to get everything right but they did. Great salad a tup I've not had before. Bread seemed rationed out with a thick half piece of apparent sour dough bread placed on your bread plate. I didn't see butter but oil was there. Main course, I had the beef which was probably the best I've ever had. Proper sear on the outside just barely into the meat. The middle was perfect medium rare through the entire piece. Amazing tender. Sides were acceptable, not great. Presentation is great. I have a photo I'm trying to post. Recommend.

First off. The service was top shelf. The staff took the best care of us and I cannot day enough good things about them. The food was okay... The antipasto was meh... The pasta was great! My wife's steak was over done and my lamb was also over done. The presentation was amazing.. The deserters were on point...

Service was great. Wine collection also good. They have very limited menu is what I think. We ordered Cacio e Pepe (not to good. What they called el-dante or not completely cooked tasted to be uncooked and very bad in taste), Salmone (the fish was not up to the mark), Gnocchi (very good) and a dish with Squid ink (very good).Tiramisu was the best. A must have dish.

Friday night at 6:30pm and the place is filled with kids. One table even brought from the outside pizza! Gone down hill. Never saw our waiter again. Had a flag down a busboy for check. Won’t be back.

In this crazy world, Bacco is the first restaurant with the best outcome of food for take out. Quality, taste, best salad with bread at the side. I had a sea bass with grilled zucchini and grilled potato chips. Awesome. My two men enjoyed the pasta with sausage. And, like I said, a very tasty salad with Parmesan and bread on the side. I hope, you will reopen again! We will be there again! Thanks.

Brian D was our waiter. He and the team delivered great service throughout our visit. The food was exquisite. My wife wasn’t crazy about her salad so it was comped. Everything else was out of this world. Great experience. We will with out a doubt be back for more!

My must stop whenever I’m in Southfiield. Ink squid pasta w seafood and great Italian reds by the glass. Excellent service and atmosphere too.

It was OK. The waiter was great, service was good. The food was overpriced for the actual quality. It was good, don’t get me wrong, but not $89 steak GREAT. Inside is interesting design, clean, but not sure what the place is going for. Would I go back, maybe.

I went for dinner with some people and had the waiter help us choose the menu. One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. You have to order dessert despite how full you are.

We were there for a holiday party. The food was all so delicious. Some of the wait staff was a bit grumpy but there afternoon was still delightful.

The food at Bacco is quite good. Be sure to try some of the homemade pasta. The salads are also unique and flavorful. I've always loved the Brussels sprout salad. They also have an entire menu of seasonal offerings. Really though, the reason I would return is the staff. They were so welcoming and made us feel at home.

Excellent dining experience

Limited menu you and pricy. But the food tasted good. Speedy service. The place its self was a little cramped. I was surprised that for it being such a high end restaurant, that the table tops were in bad shape. The finish was gone in a lot of places and you could see were the stain had been worn away in some places, revealing the original wood.

The single best Italian restaurant East of Chicago. Extraordinary homemade pasta and great service without being obsequious. Thank you Luciano
